I've tried to get Backyard Baseball running on Mac OS X 10.4.3 with ScummVM 0.8.0a but have had little success. While the game's compatibility is only listed as 20% completed the comments do say 'Game is playable, with glitches', so I figure I should at least be able to get it to run. However, when I load it up I get the 'Humongous Entertainment' screen followed by the 'It's Junior Sports' screen, and then ScummVM crashes. Has anyone else had this experience, or does anyone have any recommendations?

Backyard Baseball 2001 is a game I had a lot of fun with. Is this the definitive Backyard Baseball game? I actually think that I would say that this is where the series peaked. Even though games would be released for the next decade on different systems. It is Backyard Baseball 2001 that people seem to most fondly remember.
